Endeavour: Scottish Glass Society Exhibition

Endeavour: Scottish Glass Society Exhibition

The 35th Annual Scottish Glass Society Open Exhibition will showcase new and recent work created by twenty of the society’s members.

The theme ‘Endeavour’ was inspired by the Commonwealth Games held in Glasgow in July. The word Endeavour captures the spirit of the games, but also that of artists and craftspeople who like athletes, strive to do their best in their chosen medium, pushing its boundaries and testing their skills.

The exhibition aims to reflect the diverse nature of glass makers currently practising in Scotland showing contemporary and traditional approaches. The following artists will be exhibiting; Emma Butler-Cole Aitken, Caro Barlow, Lin Carruthers, Liz Cull, Junko Eagar, Siobhan Healy, Kate Henderson, Jessamy Kelly, Gemma Leamy, Catherine Lowe, Wilma Mackenzie, Judith Glennie, Roz McKenzie, Sarah Marshall, Inge Panneels, Anita Pate, Ian Pearson, Susan Ratliff, Stephen Richard and Elke Westen.

The exhibition runs from the 11th October to the 1st of November, at Peter Potter Gallery in Haddington, East Lothian, and open daily from 10 until 5pm (closed Sundays)
