Segments - The Segment sculptural range was kiln cast in glass with a space for a core which was packed and fired with a pâte de verre mix of glass frit and bone china. The forms resemble slices of a larger whole, which have been cut open to reveal a core with the mix of glass and ceramics at the centre of each piece; set at slightly different angles the forms subtly lean away from each other. Created in steel blue and opaline glass this artwork displays a range of translucent and transparent effects.
